I don’t like to brag or comment on restaurants, but we ate at Bucks Steaks and BBQ in Sweetwater today, it wasn’t the best BBQ I ever had, but I had the three meat OMG !!! Lots of food!! 2 large slices of brisket, 6 inches of sausage and two luge pork ribs .. beans , cornbread, potato salad, macaroni salad and coleslaw… plus onions , pickles, cherry peppers and jalapeño peppers .. In fact I ask the lady if I could take a couple of jalapeños home and she said take all I wanted ( I just took 3) next time I’m in Sweetwater I’m coming back !!!!

We came in based on a recommendation by the RV park we were at overnight. I don’t understand the negative reviews I read. The staff was attentive, though the first young lady we talked to couldn’t tell us whether the ribs were beef or pork. Big difference. We had ribs and turkey. We thought they were delicious. We also really liked the coleslaw. My husband had beans and seemed to enjoy them. I ordered onion rings that didn’t arrive until we were about finished eating and they didn’t seem hot, which was weird. I didn’t care for them. The price seemed the going rate to me, but I’m from California.

Food was excellent. I went in at about 830 when they close at 9. Still was able to get what I wanted but everyone is always in such a rush to close and leave that they were kinda pre occupied with closing of that makes sense. Will definitely come back.
